WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THESE END TIMES? Are we ready for Christ to return?

Why are people changing their minds about basic principles that are in the Bible, like the Commandments of God, Doctrine Of Jesus Christ, and the Biblical Laws we are told to continue to keep? Scripture gives us the answers.

2 Peter 2:20-22
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

We are often shocked and saddened when this happens to those we thought were are friends and family. We also know that Father God wants us to have people we can truly trust._ Oh, that they would realize when one member of the body hurts, others hurt.

1 Corinthians 12:25-27
(25)_ That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
(26)_ And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.
(27)_ Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-3
(1)_ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
(2)_ That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
(3)_ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Falling away means: G647; defection from truth (properly the state), (“apostasy”): – falling away, forsake.

One Mind & one accord: G5590; co-spirited, that is, similar in sentiment: – like-minded.

There are 6 things the Lord hates and those who have Fallen Away usually commit one or all of them.

Proverbs 6:16-19
(16)_ These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
(17)_ A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
(18)_ An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
(19)_ A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

What should we do?

Philippians 2:1-5
(1)_ If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
(2)_ Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
(3)_ Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
(4)_ Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
(5)_ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 1:27
(27)_ Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

The Lord warned us that we would live in times like this. We must preach the gospel, endure, and overcome.

Mark 13:10-13
(10) And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
(11) But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
(12) Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
(13) And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Revelation 17:12-14
(12) And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
(13) These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
(14) These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Revelation 12:11
(11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
